Sheffield Volunteering supports students to volunteer in the local community to make positive impacts and connections in Sheffield and the surrounding area. The 100 hour placements are a fully funded scheme in which students work with local charitable organisations on a unique, succinct project during the summer months (July – September 2023). If you have an idea for an exciting, impactful project that you’ve never had the time, resource or funding to achieve, our 100 hours placement scheme could be for you!
Change Lab is a development programme designed by Sheffield Students’ Union to support students who are interested in running campaigns or social action projects with community organisations in Sheffield. The purpose is to link student action with the needs of the city and bring together a network of charities, community organisations, and social change enthusiasts to hear more about areas of need in Sheffield and for partners to get a better understanding of collaboration opportunities at the university.
